Services
Services are your price list: each kind of session you offer, with its fee and currency. Invoices and appointments reference them so you never retype an amount.
Create a service
A service pairs a name with a price and a currency — for example, Spiritual Direction at $70 USD, or Supervision at $50 CAD. You can keep prices in more than one currency side by side.
- In the left navigation, open Finance → Services.
- Click New Service.
- Name it the way you say it to directees — the name appears on invoices.
- Set the price and currency, then save.
Set a default service per directee
Each directee can carry a default service in their Billing Settings. When an appointment completes without a specific service attached, Directee uses this default to build the invoice.
- Open the directee under People, then Edit.
- In Billing Settings, choose a Default Service.
- Save. Auto-invoicing now knows what this directee’s sessions cost.
Directors who charge on a sliding scale often create one service per rate — "Direction (standard)", "Direction (reduced)" — and assign each directee the one that fits.
